This time of year is seemingly a never-ending run of chaos. As you can see, I’m 3 days behind on my drinking shenanigans. So what better way to spend my day off by avoiding helping Kristi clean the house because it’s very important that I get this blog done.
First up dating all the way back to December 18 is Parallel 49 Please Sir S’more Stout. I’m surprised I let this sit in my fridge so long as I’m super excited to try it.
This is extra strong beer at 10% alcohol. It is thick and smooth and delicious. I don’t think I could drink more than one of these but it’s a great way to round out a night.
The next beer up is the Red Racer Imperial India Pale Ale. This is their extra strong, extra bitter.
With an IBU of 90 and 9% alcohol. This beer is way too much for me. The bitterness causes my jaw to clench on the finish.
Last up is Parallel 49 Sahti Claws Finnish Sahti. I have no idea what this is.
Another strong beer at 7.5% this is still way easier to drink than the Imperial IPA that I just finished. It has similar characteristics to a wheat beer. I’m quite enjoying this.
Well 3 extra strong beers has me feeling quite loopy. By loopy I mean buzzed. By buzzed I mean drunk. By drunk I mean Kristi might have to get a wheelbarrow to put me to bed tonight. Good thing I have spell check and autocorrect turned on.
I know I blew your minds by posting a picture of Marvin the pug at the top in his flashy new argyle sweater. However, I have one more for you. I know you can’t get enough pug. This is him asking me to take his sweater off. See ya tomorrow!
