This is a good sign. I just cracked my beer and Kristi stole a sip. Now she’s trying to keep it. I surprised her with a bottle of sparkling Sake. I’m assuming it’s gonna taste like bad pop. Kristi is looking at it with a perplexed look on her face. I get to drink Red Racer Smooth “Ryeder” a Rye Lager.
My first sip was great. A full bodied lager with lots of flavor but it’s very smooth and easy on the pallet. Kristi isn’t impressed with her drink. I tasted it and it tastes like fermented rice mixed with soda water. I guess you could say it tastes like bad pop.
I don’t know anything about Indigo Wind except that it’s imported from Japan and this sparkling sake should be chilled and never heated according to the label.
I think the most exciting part about this beer is that I’ve never tried it before. I’ve tried Scotch ales before but this is different. I’m surprised it’s only 5% Alcohol content as it does have a little bit of a boozy finish. I hope that Central City brings this one on full time.
Marvin, the ridiculous pug, is looking forward to more cuddles tonight
Update: Kristi added lime juice to her sake to make it “less bad”
